About the role
We’re looking for a Area Sales Manager Benelux to join our Sales & Marketing Team.
As Area Sales Manager, you are responsible for selling Habia Cables’ all offer to the Benelux market. You will get a Key Account responsibility for a number of customers in primary the industrial sector towards the market, which you are expected to manage and successfully develop. You live in the Benelux area, but will be an important part of the Global Habia sales team which consists of experienced colleagues who are responsible for other regions and you report to a Regional Sales Director. Our office in the Benelux is located to Capelle aan den Ijssel in the Netherlands.
• Developing the business towards our existing customers but also a focus on new business opportunities within the Benelux area.
• Key Account responsibility primary towards the industrial sector.
• Responsible for the business development and budget within your region.
• Set up plans and activities to achieve high goals including fairs, events etc.
• Ensure that we deliver products that meet customer and market requirements
For us the most important thing is that we find the right person. It does not necessarily mean that you have 100% the technical expertise, even if it is of course an advantage if you have worked in our industry and / or have a great technical interest. However, it is important for us that you have a genuine selling background for at least 5 to 10 years in product / project sales with good record of accomplishment and negotiation skills. You have probably an education level of MBO+.
You enjoy working independently while being part of a strong team. As a person, you are driven and work in a structured, result-oriented and persistent way to achieve your high goals. You have a positive basic attitude and enjoy communicating both internally and with customers. You speak fluent Dutch and English, German or French both speaking and writing is a strength for the position. As a person, you are positive, good listener, flexible and appreciate meeting customers.
