LungFlex AB is a Swedish company specialising in research and development in medical technology. The product, FlexO2, is a groundbreaking innovation for individually adapted oxygen supply. FlexO2 enables activity-based adjustments of the patient’s oxygen supply during LTOT (long-term oxygen therapy), using oxygen concentrators at home. FlexO2 is a brand-new product developed based on needs expressed by healthcare providers.
FlexO2 was nominated for and a finalist of the prestigious SKAPA innovation award in 2016, awarded in the memory of Alfred Nobel.
The company is growing and is now looking for an International Sales Manager to join their team. This is an exiting opportunity where you will be responsible for new and existing markets and contribute in business development and producing marketing and pricing strategies. You will report to the board.
Responsibilities and tasks
You will have the sales responsibility for new and existing markets and be a crucial part of business analysis and development. You will also contribute and be part of the marketing planning strategy.
Examples of tasks included:
- Map and identify stakeholders, caring and paying systems within the respiratory area in target countries
- Identify, develop and support distributors primarily on the Nordic market followed by the European market
- Support, build and manage long term relationships with national and international distributors
- Manage the sales responsibility and maximise sales revenues
- Educate distributors to ensure product is used in the right way
- Contribute in sales budgeting and marketing activities
- Organise and participate at regional, national and international meetings and congresses
- Analyse, develop and maintain business plan and pricing strategies
- Gather necessary market information to the company
You will also be part of implementing a CRM-system and contribute in different marketing activities.
Your profile
You have + 3 years international sales experience (preferably from medical device industry) and/or a post gymnasial education, BSc./MSc. in Science/Business Administration/Nursing or equivalent. You possess both knowledge within the medical technology field and marketing skills (digital marketing). You have solid experience working in Microsoft Office suite and are fluent in both English and at least one Scandinavian language (both written and spoken).
Preferably you have international sales experience with an international network, and are used to work together with distributors. It is meriting if you have technical knowledge and experience from working in a CRM system. Also, if you have worked in a start up environment and possess some knowledge within digital marketing. The position will require many travelling days.
