Introduction And Overview
The Hematology Therapeutic Area (TA) within Janssen has redefined the standard of care within certain areas in Hematology over the past two decades. Through the work of our dedicated team of scientists and drug developers, the TA has propelled Janssen to a leadership position with cutting-edge treatments that address the needs of patients living with hematological, malignant and non-malignant, diseases. In some areas we are in a launch phase, and we are also in the planning of future launches and new therapies in the year(s) to come. Hematology is a significant contributor to the overall Swedish company, also reflected in the resources the team is operating with.
Sales Manager With Project Leadership Responsibility
In this position you will work and lead within a highly motivated and collaborative team in a dynamic environment with passion and innovation being key drivers for success. Together with this team you will work on our innovative Hematology portfolio to support the existing and future launches, within Hematology.
The Sales Manager Hematology has a clear focus on the external business. You will orchestrate external business opportunities, lead defined projects and mentor senior key account managers reporting to you. You will also be the internal point of contact for internal training initiatives in collaboration with other sales managers. You will report to the Business Unit Lead, with whom you will also have a close collaboration to ensure implementation of short and long term business opportunities.
You will join a diverse team with lots of exiting and exiting future tasks to handle to ensure the best possible value contribution to both customers and the company.
Objectives Of The Position
As a Sales Manager you feel confident in operating with the following responsibilities on your own and together with your team.
- Work in close collaboration with the Business Unit Lead to support implementation of strategic plans.
- Active member of the national Core Value Team.
- Own and drive projects across the Hematology portfolio.
- Drive business results, for the business performance of the brands in scope.
- Collaborate with, and mentor senior Key Account Managers.
- Lead and engage in training activities to upskill yourself and your team.
- Co-create development plans together with the Key Account Manager.
- Provide frequent performance feedback to Key Account Managers.
- Work in close collaboration with the digital and customer strategy teams to ensure impact on external projects, F2F and non F2F interactions.
What You Will Need To Succeed
As a team member you present yourself as engaging with the team you are part of and continuously strive for new ways to grow the business together with the cross-functional team. You are relation oriented and understand the value of partner management, externally and internally, to reach national and regional achievements.
In driving the business results, you have a proven record of delivering beyond expectations. You are confident with reaching stretched targets and act with an aspiration attitude when leading expectations to performance.
You seek to develop over time and consider growing in an organization as a phenomenal opportunity to evolve personally and expertly. You have preferably an experience within Hematology with a strong track record. We do value experience from both sales and marketing in addition to people management.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent (required). Preferably in natural sciences, business administration or similar fields.
- At least 5 years business and proven experience (preferred).
- Proficiency in Swedish and English language (required).
- Line leadership experience (preferred).
- Healthcare, pharmaceutical or similar shown experience (required).
- Valid driver’s license (required).
- Certified in LIF or minimum bachelor’s degree with the license to sell pharmaceutical products, e.g. pharmacist, biomedicine, nurse, dentist, medical doctor etc. (required).
